Dr. Richard Moerman PHD, Bachelor of Law & Arts is a seasoned corporate laws, finance and funding arrangements expert having over twenty-five years’ experience focusing primarily on the legal aspects of funding structures and cross border financing, culminating in wealth creation in raw form with relentless execution for outcomes.
Throughout his instrumental and splendid career, he had been a Representative/Advisor to the Governments of Argentina, Malawi, Western Cape, RSA, Lesotho, Tajikistan, Chile, Nigeria, Uganda, Swaziland, Mozambique, Angola, Zambia, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and Kenya for multi-billion US Dollars Funding & Structured Finance projects and related Legal Advisory Services.
He was also a lecturer in Rhodes University, Advocate High Courts of South Africa, Transkei, Ciskei, Bophuthatswana, Member of Arbitration Association of South Africa, Commissioner & Member of the Advisory Board Small Claims Court South Africa, Group Leader of 32 Advocates in Chambers (Group 4000), Honorary Secretary of The Johannesburg Bar Council & Society of Advocates Witwatersrand Legal Compliance Officer for Bank financing transactions. He develops strategic plans for long term business success through effective process improvement. Dr. Richard offers cultivation of lucrative relationship with both new and existing clients. Dr. Richard led public affairs for Corporate and Governments where he developed and implemented strategies and executed plans that measurably improved and protected commercial, public and government interests. He led a cross functional team with a remit for corporate communication, project development and government relations. Dr. Richard represented multiple firms, sourced, negotiated and secured funding to several industries in billions of dollars providing them full range of banking and investment services.
Dr. Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts from Rhodes University, Bachelor of Laws postgraduate degree from Rhodes University. In addition, he has Articles of Clerkship for Attorney Solicitor, Pupillage Advocacy and Doctorate of Philosophy.

He is a professional banker who has been in the banking business for thirty years as a Senior International Banker and involved in all aspects of finance, be it in Investment Banking, Project Finance, Private Equity, Business Development, and Venture Capital.
In his illustrious career in NY, London, and Paris, Michel has been Managing Director of Lehman Brothers (Global Head of Project Finance), Director General of Kleinwort Benson France (Investment Banking), First Vice President of Banque Indosuez (Global Head of Project Finance), and Director of Morgan Grenfell France (Investment Banking).
He has spent twelve years as financial advisor of Governments and Heads of States in Africa (Guinea Conakry, Ivory Coast, Mali), in Central America (Costa Rica), and in Latin America (Venezuela). He was also Financial Adviser to the World Bank on the Refinancing and on the restructuring of mining and power sectors in emerging markets. He was the Financial Adviser and the Speaker for the United Nations (UNESCO) for Renewable Energy, from 1998 to 2012. He served as Adviser to the French Government on the Privatization of industrial groups, for which he was awarded the “Price Financial Innovation 1990” by the French Prime Minister. He also served as Adviser to the UK Government on the Privatization of infrastructure under the Private Finance Initiative (PFI) Scheme.
Some of is assignments were to Structure and to Finance infrastructure projects (Shadow Toll Roads in the UK, Cross Israel Highway, Energy Power Plants in Indonesia), and to advise on the Gas distribution in Europe. He also structured large projects and financed them through access to the Public Capital markets and with syndicated Banks loans. He negotiated Advisory mandates and Arranger roles with Global Management responsibility, for large Projects in Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo.
From the early-eighties to 2002, he served on the Board of Directors of Banque Kolb, a French Commercial Bank that belonged to his family, until he arranged for its sale to Crédit du Nord (of Société Générale group).
Mr. Michel Bachelier is the Chairman, Board of Directors of De-Sadel Consortium, with a wealth of experience devoted to the De-Sadel family, with the view to assist the group achieve its goals and objectives.
He graduated with Honors from Harvard Business School with a Master in Business Administration.

Mr. Samuel Uko

Samuel Uko is the President and Chief Executive Officer of De-Sadel Group, a position he assumed after a successful 7 years appointment in the Presidency – Federal Republic of Nigeria from June 2000 to May 2007. In the Presidency he served as member of different presidential committees.
He is responsible for successfully transformation of De-Sadel to a Superstructure and Infrastructure development Consortium, adding international supply & trading, gas & power, energy services group.
Today, De-Sadel has investments across the energy value chain and it is one of Sub-Saharan African foremost integrated energy and Superstructure, Infrastructure solution group providing employment to both national and international.
Uko, a member of the institute of Directors of Nigeria, member of Rotary & Lions Club, sits on the board of several blue-chip companies as chairman or director. He holds a BSC (HONS) in political Science and is currently undergoing a MBA-International Finance & Administration programme.
Uko has pioneered the execution of world class initiatives in the region as an ethical business leader, entrepreneur and philanthropist.

Dr. Stanley CM KO is the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the De-Sadel Consortium. He was previously the Managing Principal of Albarka Africa Investments (Pty) Ltd, a consultancy firm offering assistance in project development, Director for Chahars Capital SA, and Principal at Leopolda Properties (Pty) Ltd.
Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President of West International Holding, Investment Director for IOSSC Africa Investment Fund, Director for Strategy and Business Development at Dangote Industries, and Lafarge‘s Regional Vice President for Sub-Sahara Africa. He was also Project Director for Lafarge South Africa’s €120mn cement capacity expansion project, and the Chief Executive Officer of Cementia Trading Asia-Pacific. In 1998, Dr. Ko led the due diligence team that successfully acquired the then Circle Cement in South Africa for US$242 million. Following the acquisition, he was named the Integration Director that oversaw programs that led to the acquired business to be EVA positive within 3 years.
Dr. Ko has extensive experience in large-scale project implementation, project financing, M&A, post-acquisition integration, and international commodity trading. He was also the President of Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Industry Southern Africa.
Dr. Ko holds a Doctor of Business Administration Degree (University of Western Australia), Master of Business Administration degree (Leicester University), Diploma in Building (Singapore Polytechnic), and received executive training in Strategy and Competition (Harvard Business School), Finance (INSEAD France), AMP (INSEAD France), and leadership program PRISM (IMD Switzerland).

Esther Nnamdi-Ogbue is a legal practitioner with more than 39 years experience. As a new wig, she went into private practice before transiting to the public service by her employment as a legal officer with the then Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation in 1991.
Esther has extensive expertise having negotiated and brought to the successful execution many multi-million Dollar agreements, as a matter of routine. She has also handled company secretarial duties for a number of multinational companies.
She was the Managing Director, Pipelines and Products Marketing Company (PPMC) and later, the Managing Director, NNPC Retail.
She is a successful leadership coach and entrepreneur with visible impact through her signature events, programs and solutions.
With her “it can be done” attitude, she has recorded a number of firsts, where it was prior to then, thought to be impossible. With this attribute and being a stickler for honesty, diligence and hard work the team stands at an advantage to fulfil its goals and objectives.
Esther Nnamdi-Ogbue is also a Leadership Development and Management Coach with a combination of almost two decades experience in Boardroom dynamics and leadership.
She is a facilitator and sought after trainer within and outside Nigeria.

Dr. Safiyu Olusegun Imam with over three decades experience business strategist, he has worked in multiple sectors of the Nigerian economy including Oil and Gas, Agriculture and Infrastructural development and has become a consultant and resource person of global repute. He is currently sought after by numerous high- profile players in Nigeria and internationally and boasts an impressive global network.

Dr. Safiyu Olusegun Imam graduated as a Veterinary Surgeon from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria in 1982. During a short three-year stint in the Civil Service, he completed a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Ilorin in 1986. Thereafter, he worked as a veterinarian in different managerial capacities in the Nigeria livestock production sector.
He is an accomplished team player, master strategist and an astute businessperson. He also possesses great communication and interpersonal skills.

He has worked as a lecturer’s assistant for 1 year in the Engineering Faculty of the University of Lagos and 2 years in the Federal Ministry of Works, an auditor and business consultant for 16 years at the foremost professional services firm – Pricewater houseCoopers (PwC), a banker for 4 years at a commercial bank – Marina International Bank (now Access Bank Plc), a group chief financial officer for 3 years in a pioneer indigenous telecom services group – Suburban West Africa (formerly, Suburban Telecoms Ltd), 1 year as chief operating officer of the group’s exchange and co-location business – Exchange Telecoms, and 6 years in private business as an accountant, auditor, tax consultant, financial adviser and social media entrepreneur.

Mfon holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Nigeria, and an MBA from IESE, the International Business School of the University of Navarra, Barcelona, Spain. Bola is an Oil & Gas Senior Engineer and Project Management Professional with over 20 years record of success in leading Engineering, Concept Selection, Detailed Design, Define Stage and Execution Stage Projects – all with ExxonMobil. His experience includes managing teams of up to 60 in projects ranging from structural repairs, piping replacements, drillwells, slot additions, pigging, domestic gas supply, power, flare upgrades, Deepwater and Farm-outs.
Coordination roles outside projects comprise Company Budget and Planning, Operations Integrity Management Systems and Management of Change. He joined ExxonMobil as a Senior Reservoir Engineer in 2002 and by 2019, was managing a budget of over $200million and a portfolio of projects each over $20million in asset value as a Production Projects Manager.
Bola left ExxonMobil in 2021 as Technical Advisor to the General Manager, Environmental and Property Solutions to form his company, AfriEnergy and Infrastructure Ltd and partnered with the Dutch Power Group and Energy China to develop the Lagos State Solus Dumpsite Waste-to-Energy Project and supply hybrid power to residential and commercial customers in Lagos State. He is the Vice President, Business Strategy of De-Sadel Consortium and brings his wealth of experience to assist the group achieve its goals and objectives.
Bola holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and a PhD from Cambridge University, UK both in Chemical Engineering. He is a registered Engineer in Nigeria and Canada and a fellow of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, Cambridge, United Kingdom.

Upali Jayasinghe has over forty years’ experience in engineering, procurement, construction, operation and management (EPCOM) in the energy industry. He started in 1973 as a Process Engineer at British Gas, UK and has moved round the industry in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region for 30 years before settling down in ExxonMobil, Nigeria for over 10 years. He is the Vice President, Energy of De-Sadel Consortium and brings his wealth of experience to assist the group achieve its goals and objectives. His experience in the industry is in exhaustive so we will restrict his profile to his pioneering work and leadership role on the ExxonMobil gas project under consideration as follows:
- Supervision of Detailed Design by Delta Afrik for a 54 km offshore pipeline and onshore facilities including custody metering units to supply 400MMscfd of gas to the ExxonMobil power plant and methanol plant in Eket, Akwa Ibom State of Nigeria.
- Supervision of the Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and detailed design of Ubit platform Restoration Project by Delta Afrik.
- Qua Iboe Terminal reliability studies to restore its performance. Work included design checks of crude oil settling tanks, skimmer tanks and Dissolved Air Floatation units.
- Checking and approving contractor’s process engineering deliverables for 2×25 MW gas turbine generators installed at Qua Iboe Terminal followed by punch listing of facilities.
- Supervision and direct the detail design by Delta Afrik for the upgrading of produced water system, where produced water is discharged 20 km offshore using new pumps and new onshore pipeline;
- Process engineering studies for a new high pressure flare of capacity 160 Mscfd, to be located at Bonny River Terminal;
- Conceptual studies and FEED to upgrade an existing offshore U-tube flare at Asabo platform to an elevated flare of capacity 160 Mscfd;
- Detailed design for platform modifications and installation of a new 17 km pipeline to transport crude oil from Yoho production platform to Ekpe platform and decommissioning of a FSO located at Yoho.
- Process engineering supervision for Satellites Field Development Project – Phase II involving new well head platforms and brownfield modifications at the host platforms. Detailed design done by Delta Afrik;
- Trouble shooting and carrying out design checks to provide solutions to Satellites Field Development Project – Phase I, where one of the wellhead platforms was experiencing frequent trips;
- Supervision and direct the development of FEED by Delta Afrik for a 50 km offshore pipeline and onshore facilities to supply 400MMscfd of gas to a power plant and a methanol plant.
- Development of FEED for Domestic Gas Project – Phase II, involving delivering 330 Mscfd of gas to the domestic market;
Upali holds a BSc. (Hon) in Chemical Engineering from Bath University, Bath and a HND in Chemical Engineering from Southampton College of Technology, Southampton both in England, UK.

Dr. Vincent Dogo has put in over 30 years in the electricity supply industry and related fields within and outside Nigeria. His engineering career and practice touched on the areas of power systems planning, development, coordination, design and management; telecommunication systems development; and renewable energy projects development. He is currently involved in the Kwa Zulu Nathal (KZN) Cato Ridge Power Project in South Africa as the Project Lead and design expert.
Locally, Dr. Dogo has been involved in a number of power system projects which includes: Design and Review of Mambilla and Zungeru Hydro Power projects; Rehabilitation of 110MW TPP/TBS for Ajaokuta Steel Complex Nigeria; Design and Construction of 330kV/132kV Transmission Lines and Substations. He was the Pioneer Chief Operating Officer (COO) for 2 major telecommunication companies – Phase3 Telecommunications Ltd (a giant “HIGH VOLTAGE FIBER OPTIC TELECOMS” Company using 330kV transmission Lines) and Backbone Connectivity Networks (BCN) (a metropolitan fiber optics telecoms company in Abuja, Nigeria). He is credited with the development of High Order Synchronous Digital Hierarchy (SDH) and Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM) systems for telecommunication networks in Africa.
Dr. Dogo served as the Senior Special Assistant (Technical) to the Honourable Minister of Power, Federal Republic of Nigeria responsible for advising the Honourable Minister on matters of Power Sector policies. He was a Pioneer Member of the Technical Board of the ECOWAS Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE) in Cape Verde and was also the Chairman of the committee that drafted and implemented the ECOWAS Renewable Energy Policy which was adopted by the 13 Member Heads of State at the ECOWAS Assembly in 2010.

Dr. Dogo holds an MSc degree in Power Engineering and a PhD degree in Electronics Design. He is a member of many professional bodies and registered by the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

Engr. Ajayi Oluwafemi Oluseyi, currently serving as the Senior Manager for Energy Projects at De-Sadel Consortium, brings a wealth of experience to drive the achievement of the group’s objectives. Prior to his role at De-Sadel Consortium, Engr. Ajayi held various key positions in the engineering and project management field, showcasing his expertise and leadership.
Previously, he served as the Managing Director of ARIS Company Limited and played a pivotal role as the Project Execution Lead for Makmera Nigeria on behalf of ExxonMobil in Lagos, overseeing the NPO Pipelines project. Throughout his career, Engr. Ajayi has been involved in diverse engineering roles for numerous infrastructure projects.
With over 33 years of solid track records in executing civil engineering and Oil & Gas structures, including significant contributions to mass housing projects, Engr. Ajayi is a COREN Registered Civil/Structural Engineer. His notable project achievements include the successful execution of ExxonMobil’s 60km Offshore Gas Pipeline and the 9km Shore Crossing works for 2Nos. Pipelines. He also played a crucial role in Shell Petroleum’s Obigbo & Belema Gas Gathering Projects and the Gbarain-Ubie Oil & Gas Pipeline Offsite works.
In recognition of his expertise and dedication to the field, Engr. Ajayi was nominated as a National member for the Engineering Mass Housing Committee for the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) from 2017 to 2021.
Engr. Ajayi holds a B. Engineering degree (2nd-Class Upper Division) in Civil Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt and a Higher National Diploma (Upper Credit) in Civil Engineering from Yaba College of Technology. Additionally, he has actively pursued continuous professional development through various professional and project management courses.

Engr. Yomi Agbogun Abayomi is the Senior Manager, Energy Projects of De-Sadel Consortium and brings his wealth of experience to assist the group achieve its goals and objectives.
Engr. Yomi is presently the Project Engineering Manager with Westpaq Engineering Nigeria Limited. Prior to that, he was Project Manager with Visco Production Services; Senior Construction Engineer with ExxonMobil Nigeria Limited; Senior Project Engineer with West African Ventures (WAV) Nigeria Limited; Project Engineer with NIDRO Oil and Gas International Services Limited; and Construction Engineer with Suffolk Petroleum Services Limited, Nigeria.
Engr. Yomi has more than 22 years post qualification experiences working from FEED to Commissioning on Oil and Gas Projects (including Offshore Platform Revamping & Upgrade, Pipe Laying and New Installations). He has extensive experiences as leader in an offshore oil and gas project environment working in high-pressure systems, sweet/sour services and Brownfield/Greenfield Projects. He has seasoned exposures to Company and Contractor Constructions and Installation Projects Execution Management.
Engr. Yomi holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical Engineering) from the Federal University of Technology Minna, Nigeria, and is a Registered Member of the Council of Engineers in Nigeria.

Engr. Munyonga started his career in 1991 with the Zimbabwe Ministry of Transport when he qualified as a Civil Engineer.
He then joined the City of Harare as a Junior Engineer until the end 2018 where he was involved in the structuring, design, supervision and construction of the City’s roads and infrastructure network.
His experience include amongst other things the design, construction, supervision and commissioning of Township developments (inclusive water and sewer reticulation, roads, bridges and storm water drainage.
Eng. Munyonga was also a member of the Project Steering Committee running under the Ministry of Finance in the Zimbabwe Government that was tasked with overseeing the redevelopment and reconstruction of roads and related infrastructure across the whole of Zimbabwe.
He is the Executive Director, Ventures of De-Sadel Consortium and brings his wealth of experience to assist the group achieve its goals and objectives.

He possesses a deep understanding of infrastructure finance principles, leveraging his financial expertise to drive the transformation of Africa’s transportation and energy sectors. Shola’s visionary leadership has resulted in optimized financial performance, substantial capital raising, and sustainable growth for diverse enterprises. His achievements include raising over $50 million in investments, leading business transformations, and guiding successful financial and investment strategies.
Prior to his current role, Shola held positions such as Specialist Partner for Investment Structuring & Advisory at Datapoolwaters Advisory, where he successfully advised on complex projects and raised funds for Agroeknor International. He also served as a Senior Manager of FP&A and Investment at Arnergy Solar Limited, raising $9 million in Series A funding and implementing operational efficiency measures. Additionally, Shola made significant contributions as the Finance Partner/CFO at Riby Finance, closing important deals and optimizing financial management. Frances is a lawyer with over 30 years’ work experience – most recently – as Chief Operating Officer in an international medical services firm (Dro-Health Telemedicine Limited) and HR/Admin Director in a telecom company (Zodafones Telecommunications Limited).
She has previously worked in administrative roles at the Lagos Business School and in business management and development positions at Zinox Technologies and Epson Nigeria. She is also a dedicated social service worker with the Society of Youth and the Downtrodden.

From being the manager for F&B, Fadi has progressed over the years to cover other responsibilities and widened his career scope.

Engineer Gano is a qualified Mining Engineer and applied Geologist, a Fellow of the Institute of Industrialist and corporate Administrators. He has extensive experience in the mining sector Industrial project development and cane to sugar process equipment.
Alhaji started his career in 1986 with Mineral Industries Limited as General Manager where he worked on talc mining and beneficiation techniques. In 1990, he moved to Kagara Talc Processing Company Limited where his expertise in talc was sought by the company as a consultant to setup an open cast mine for the Talc deposit.
Engr. Gano moved into barites ore in 1994 where in Delta Prospects Limited, he was General Manager responsible for the Administration, engineering design and setting up of an Ultra-modern 30,000 TPA Barytes Ore Beneficiation Plant.
Demonstrating his versatility, in 2013, Engr. Gano was appointed Technical Director of Crystal Sugar Mills Limited where he oversaw the refurbishment of equipment and machinery for 1,500 TCD cane to Sugar Plant. He also directed the erection of the 1,500 TCD cane to Sugar Plant.
Engr. Gano is a member of Nigerian Mining and Geosciences Society, member of Nigerian Society of Mining Engineers, and Fellow of the Institute of Industrialist and Corporate Administrators.
He is the Executive Director, Business Strategy of De-Sadel Consortium and brings his wealth of experience to assist the group achieve its goals and objectives.

Dr. Mboweni is a qualified Medical Doctor and seasoned entrepreneur. He holds a BSC (Biological Science) from Wits and a MBBCH (Wits) 2010 and an MBA student at GIBS.
Dr Mboweni is a director and shareholder of a number of companies including Vela International, Mdumo Investment in Partnership with ABSA All day, Transvaal Electric Motors, eTranzact Global RSA and UTSCH RSA.
A registered medical doctor, has been instrumental in structuring a number of multi- Million Dollar projects throughout Africa and has network across many industry sectors.
He is the Group Executive Director/Advisor of De-sadel Consortium and brings his wealth of experience to assist the group achieve its goals and objectives.

A young starter with over 8 years’ experience in Property Management. In-depth experience of all aspects of Property Management / Maintenance & Compliance Coordination operations including finance and budgeting, asset management and maintenance, marketing and leasing, developing strong tenant relationships, staff supervision and development and ensuring compliance with all applicable policies and regulations.
Lee has professional experience in multiple technical areas with expertise in software administration, data manipulation and trouble shooting. He has experience with multiple operating platforms (Yardi Propware, Qube, Microsoft, Abelton Live, Logic).
He achieved and exceed key performance indicators in all areas, execute great customer service during his tenure with Lewis & Tucker, SDL Bigwood (4th largest auction company in the UK) and Growthpoint Properties Limited.
He is the Director, Treasury of De-Sadel Consortium and brings his wealth of experience to assist the group achieve its goals and objectives.
Lee earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. He also obtained Certifications in Management Principals, Basics of Business, Fidelity Fund and others.

Batula is a sociologist with 22 years’ work experience spanning pension management, social work, contracting and procurement. She is a director in the Corporate Services Division of De-Sadel Consortium and manages all corporate social responsibility activities and external relations with non-governmental organizations, the three tiers of government, and the regulatory authorities.
She joined De-Sadel Consortium from the Federal Roads Management Agency (FERMA) where she worked for 15 years in sensitive verification, contracting and procurement units. Throughout her career at FERMA, she maintained her volunteer social service work at several Non-Governmental Organizations including the Centre for Human Survival Development Initiative (CHUSDI), Voice of the Less Privilege Organization (VOLPO) North/East, and the Society for Youth and the Downtrodden.
Batula holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Anthropology from the prestigious University of Maiduguri and MSc. in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

Idris is a graduate of arts and history from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University and holds a diploma in marketing from Kaduna State Polytechnic. He was managing director of two marketing companies from 2004 to 2018 before joining De-Sadel Consortium in January 2019.
He is a dynamic and resultmotivated professional with extensive experience in business development, marketing, logistics, and business brokering.
Idris brings proven expertise in managing business operations, establishing strategic partnerships, and a versatile skillset suited for diverse roles in De-Sadel.
