Bola is an Oil & Gas Senior Engineer and Project Management Professional with over 20 years record of success in leading Engineering, Concept Selection, Detailed Design, Define Stage and Execution Stage Projects – all with ExxonMobil. His experience includes managing teams of up to 60 in projects ranging from structural repairs, piping replacements, drillwells, slot additions, pigging, domestic gas supply, power, flare upgrades, Deepwater and Farm-outs.

Coordination roles outside projects comprise Company Budget and Planning, Operations Integrity Management Systems and Management of Change. He joined ExxonMobil as a Senior Reservoir Engineer in 2002 and by 2019, was managing a budget of over $200million and a portfolio of projects each over $20million in asset value as a Production Projects Manager.

Bola left ExxonMobil in 2021 as Technical Advisor to the General Manager, Environmental and Property Solutions to form his company, AfriEnergy and Infrastructure Ltd and partnered with the Dutch Power Group and Energy China to develop the Lagos State Solus Dumpsite Waste-to-Energy Project and supply hybrid power to residential and commercial customers in Lagos State. He is the Vice President, Business Strategy of De-Sadel Consortium and brings his wealth of experience to assist the group achieve its goals and objectives.

Bola holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and a PhD from Cambridge University, UK both in Chemical Engineering. He is a registered Engineer in Nigeria and Canada and a fellow of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, Cambridge, United Kingdom.
