He is a professional banker who has been in the banking business for thirty years as a Senior International Banker and involved in all aspects of finance, be it in Investment Banking, Project Finance, Private Equity, Business Development, and Venture Capital. 

In his illustrious career in NY, London, and Paris, Michel has been Managing Director of Lehman Brothers (Global Head of Project Finance), Director General of Kleinwort Benson France (Investment Banking), First Vice President of Banque Indosuez (Global Head of Project Finance), and Director of Morgan Grenfell France (Investment Banking). 

He has spent twelve years as financial advisor of Governments and Heads of States in Africa (Guinea Conakry, Ivory Coast, Mali), in Central America (Costa Rica), and in Latin America (Venezuela). He was also Financial Adviser to the World Bank on the Refinancing and on the restructuring of mining and power sectors in emerging markets. He was the Financial Adviser and the Speaker for the United Nations (UNESCO) for Renewable Energy, from 1998 to 2012. He served as Adviser to the French Government on the Privatization of industrial groups, for which he was awarded the “Price Financial Innovation 1990” by the French Prime Minister. He also served as Adviser to the UK Government on the Privatization of infrastructure under the Private Finance Initiative (PFI) Scheme. 

Some of is assignments were to Structure and to Finance infrastructure projects (Shadow Toll Roads in the UK, Cross Israel Highway, Energy Power Plants in Indonesia), and to advise on the Gas distribution in Europe. He also structured large projects and financed them through access to the Public Capital markets and with syndicated Banks loans. He negotiated Advisory mandates and Arranger roles with Global Management responsibility, for large Projects in Paris, New York, Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo. 

From the early-eighties to 2002, he served on the Board of Directors of Banque Kolb, a French Commercial Bank that belonged to his family, until he arranged for its sale to Crédit du Nord (of Société Générale group). 

Mr. Michel Bachelier is the Chairman, Board of Directors of De-Sadel Consortium, with a wealth of experience devoted to the De-Sadel family, with the view to assist the group achieve its goals and objectives. 

He graduated with Honors from Harvard Business School with a Master in Business Administration.
